God Understands Death

When You Fear Death addresses the many fears that can arise when facing mortality, including concerns about what comes after death, becoming a burden to others, dying alone, or suffering through pain. Through the stories of Veterans and Service members, biblical truth, and guided reflection, the booklet offers reassurance that God is present in our darkest moments and provides hope that extends beyond death itself.

Developed with chaplains from Veterans Affairs, God Understands empowers Service members and Veterans to find healing in God’s Word. Pairing military stories with Bible passages, the series covers eight themes based on the following spiritual injuries: anger, grief, doubt, guilt, fear of death, hopelessness, meaninglessness, and a sense that life is unfair.
